929. Moorhead Building 305 S.E. 1 Avenue

Mr. James R. Moorhead established this company in 1884, and is the oldest continually operating civil engineering and land surveying company in the State of Florida. This Masonry Vernacular Commercial style building was built in 1915 for the Ocala Knitting and Manufacturing Company. Moorhead Engineering has occupied this site since the 1960's.
